This is pretty much true.

Social justice people are often proven to be just as “-ist” as they claim to be against.

some scientists agree that if you saw a clone of yourself, you wouldn’t recognise it as you, because our idea of what we look like is so different from what we actually look like

This gave me anxiety

'A Brief History of The USA - Bowling For Columbine'

I’m from London, so what do I know? Well, since Columbine, there have been over 30 high school shootings in America, and yet some states still argue over gun control laws. Baffling!

Yeah because with the way logic works, if things still happen then stuff must be done right? Lol

This is so silly, especially when you use something by Michael Moore who is famous for using bad propaganda.

also two words “Cumbria shooting”. The fact that you guys can’t even get gun control, health care or even adopt the Euro properly, do you even deserve to be a country? I mean why is it still discussed!!

"A recent meta-analysis concluded what many people already knew: the availability of firearms is a strong risk factor for both homicide and suicide. But the study came to another conclusion that is rarely mentioned in the gun control debate: females are uniquely impacted by the availability of a firearm. Indeed, the study found that women with access to firearms become homicide victims at significantly higher rates than men."

Having a Gun in the House Doesn’t Make a Woman Safer

(via femininefreak)

Wrong. Japan has insanely strict firearms laws and very low ownership, and they have the highest suicide rates in the world.

as a person who attempted suicide, to trivializing the personal afflictions that cause suicide and make it about the availability of firearms is both insensitive and sickening.

It doesn’t matter how easy firearms are to get. knives, prescription pills, heights are all easier to get and way cheaper. And people who are true risks for suicide don’t do it based on what’s easiest, that’s why they plan it out which is a solid sign of risk.
